Kristin Fisher was added to CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent team in July of 2021. In her new position she is responsible for covering all aspects of space, from NASA and the recently created Space Force, to commercial space companies and the advent to space tourism. Kristin was her mother was one of NASA astronauts and an avid space fan, grew up immersed in the field. She spent five years as the White House correspondent for FOX News covering space policy in the Biden and Trump administrations. During that time, she also reported on two impeachment trials for the president and the presdiential 2020 campaign and two administration's attempts to control the pandemic of coronavirus. Additionally, she traveled with President Trump and Vice President Biden often. The trip included a shady trip with him to Afghanistan.
